CSEP EU Testing Regions
Testing Regions in the CSEP EU Testing Center
Italy is the first testing region of Europe, proposed by the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia. The testing started on 1 August 2009. The next testing region is Iceland. One PhD student at ETH Zurich will start implementing the Icelandic testing region in October 2009 with financial support of the Swiss National Science Foundation. Potential further testing regions are Greece, Romania and Turkey. Initial discussions have been held but there are currently no testing regions proposed. Testing for all of Europe is likely to be implemented within global testing.
